Heavy monsoon rainfall in the third week of September 2024 caused widespread flooding and landslides across Nepal. Twenty-one districts were affected, seven of them severely, and more than 50 health facilities were damaged. (WHO Nepal)
HEOC and the Provincial Health Emergency Operation Centres published situation reports throughout the response. The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) assessment that followed is published below in six volumes, covering the operational status of the health system and each major service area.
