The protests of 8–9 September 2025 produced a mass casualty incident across Kathmandu Valley and other districts. HEOC coordinated the health sector response and maintains the official record of the injured.
The consolidated casualty record, the procedure for classifying the injured, the procedure for reimbursing hospitals for treatment provided, and the Alternate Care Site Guideline issued afterwards are all published below. Follow-up care for some of the injured continued into 2026, which is why this response is still listed as under monitoring.
